Mortar & Cement
Mortar is a mixture of sand and cements that is most often used to build brick or block walls.
While portland cement concrete is certainly one of the most widely used building product in the world, masonry mortar is close behind. Mortar is also designed to be durable but achieves its goal through finesse. Its strengths are quite low compared with concrete and it is never used in thick applications. It is much creamier and more workable than concrete.
Portland cements are a quality, cost-effective basic building material used in virtually all forms of construction. The products, which meet or exceed all applicable ASTM and CSA chemical and physical requirements, can be used in a wide variety of commercial and architectural concrete construction applications.
ARDEX Engineered Cement and Mortar are fiber reinforced for greater bond strength and are easy to apply.
